Packerman was incorporated in 1995 in Melaka. Since then, it has grown substantially to become one of the leading plastic extrusion and thermoforming manufacturers in Malaysia. Current staff force stands at approximately 120 people operating from our world-class plant located in Taman Tasik Utama.

Began operations manufacturing and distributing Polypropylene (PP) jelly cups

Installed new PP extrusion line. Secured Spritzer and IBM accounts.

Secured McDonald’s Malaysia account to manufacture Sundae cups and lids. Installed new Japanese vacuum-forming machine

Expanded product range to include mineral water cups

Began manufacturing High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) egg trays. Awarded he ISO 9002 certicifaction. Began construction work of new facility. Secured the account to supply to McDonalds in the South East Asian region

Moved operations to new premises. Began production of 16oz. PP cups. Successfully commissioned PET line in new facility and acquired a Pallman Agglomerator to enable recycling of waste. Now capable of producing APET, PETG and GAG sheets.

Upgraded to ISO 9001:2000 certification. Began commercialization of antistatic material

Acquired a KTR4 line with tilting-mould technology for the production of APET 10 & 16oz. cups. Passed an audit by Intertek, an independent CSR audit firm affirming that Packerman is in-line with current CSR standards. |
